The uscg maritime law enforcement academy, established in the year 2004, possesses the main objective to prepare personnel of the Coast Guard to perform functions as the Maritime Law Enforcement Officers. The academy was established at Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Charleston. Other services provided by this academy include enhancing the skills of the Maritime Law Enforcement students from their state, local and federal agencies along with the international community. High quality guidance and training is offered in order to improve the skills and knowledge of the students that are required to perform their career roles in legal, professional and safe manners. The academy also believes in maintaining, developing and making available the latest publishing training material and guide in order to support the professionalism and standardization of the complete system of the Maritime Law Enforcement Training.
